Anupamaa star Rupali Ganguly’s stepdaughter Esha Verma REACTS to 50 crore defamation case; says, ” If you want to chat with me…”

Rupali Ganguly, star of Anupamaa, has recently filed a defamation notice against her stepdaughter Esha Verma. The actress sought ₹50 crores in damages for claims that allegedly tarnished her reputation. Esha has accused Rupali of having an affair with her father, Ashwin Verma, while he was still married to her mother. And Verma has made serious allegations of physical abuse against her mother in Mumbai.

In response to the defamation allegations, Esha Verma has removed the related posts about Rupali Ganguly from her social media. And she has also set her Instagram account to private. However, she later shared a video message with her followers. She expressed gratitude for their support and stated her intention to focus on moving forward. Esha mentioned that she is currently in America, where she feels more protected.

In her video, Esha said, “Hi everybody, it’s Esha here. I just want to thank you all for being so kind, supportive, and sweet. It truly means the world to me. I’ll be taking some time to keep things private for my own sake as I move forward.” She also emphasized the positive community she has found among her followers and encouraged anyone spreading negativity to expect to be blocked.

Esha added that while she may be less responsive for a while, she is open to conversations. “If you want to chat with me about something, I’m here. Just know that I won’t discuss certain topics, so please keep that in mind,” she explained.

Esha is the daughter of Ashwin and Sapna Verma, who divorced in 2008 after marrying in 1997. Ashwin later wed Rupali Ganguly in 2013, and the couple has a son named Rudransh.
